Although we didn't actually see a tiger in Mudumalai National Park we did see common langurs, macaques, warthogs, spotted deer (also called chital), a couple of retired temple elephants, and so much more. Tigers snack on most of these--so it's almost like we saw them, right? Tiger sightings are actually very rare. Although this is the largest reserve in India there are still only around 85 identified tigers.
