Did you know that the average Canadian eats 65 chocolate bars a year? Peru (as well as Ecuador) exports some of the best chocolate in the world. Today we did our best to help gobble up some of that great chocolate at the Lima Chocolate Museum.
I had a brownie. I suppose you could call it just an ordinary brownie, but it was an amazing ordinary brownie. Dad had Alfajor. It is a traditional sweet somewhat like a shortbread. It is filled with dulce de leche, which is quite popular here, and of course topped with chocolate . To top that off we also tasted yummy free samples on the museum tour.
Will go to sleep dreaming of Peruvian chocolate. You Are Always in My Prayers. Love Mom.
