If there is something we can climb--Dad has us climb it! Today we boarded a traditional wooden kaiki yatch and headed off to the island of Palea Kameni to climb an active volcano. You can see steam and gases gurgling out, and smell the sulphur, but it hasn't actually erupted since 1950. After circling the rim and climbing back down it felt refreshing to head back to the hot springs for a swim off of the boat. Before heading back to Oia we spent the afternoon in a cute little port town on the island of Thirassa. In the two hours we were there we had ice team twice--it just seemed like a two-ice-cream kind of day. Only a few more days. You are Always in My Prayers. Love Mom.
