How did you get so close to the hyenas? Did you get to pet any of the animals? (Monkeys) What were the monkeys doing? Were they just playing around, grooming each other or fighting?
Did the monkeys move when you drove your vehicle on it?
What kind of poop were the dung beetles pushing? How did they get that poop ball so big?
Hyenas aren't really supposed to be out during the day but it was stormy and he was hiding in a ditch beside the road.
You dont get to pet the wild animals in Kruger but check tomorrow for pictures because I walked and petted lions today.
The monkeys are grooming, playing and sometimes they get rough and fight. They move quite slowly off the road and don't seem that afraid of the game vehicles.
The dung beetles at pushing elephant poop and elephant poop is huge.
How did dung Beatles evolve to push balls of feces around?
I dont know too much about how they evolved (except what I just read on Wikipedia) but I don't think I would want to live in and/or eat feces.
Why do they wear such short skirts?
The men wore very short skirts but they had gym shorts under them. I think it makes it easier for them to dance actively.
What was the dance trying to represent
The Swazi love to dance. They said they have lots of dances but two main ones. The Reed dance and the first fruits dance. First fruits is like a thanksgiving dance and the reed dance is done by the women. During the reed festival the king often chooses another wife.
