"We suffered from so much religion and so little christianity"
~Our Irish Tour Guide 2015 Our tour guide delivered a semester of Irish history in one morning. My conclusion is that there is no single unbiased version of "the troubles". The peace wall separates the republican areas from the loyalist areas. This wall, which feels more like a keep the peace wall, is still locked down at night.
In contrast, this evening I attended mass at St. Malachy's with fourteen students from our LDSS band/choir. Drawing from many faiths, both catholic and protestant, we were all welcome. Second Reading--St. Malachy's--Ephesians 2:10 For we are the product of His hand, heaven’s poetry etched on lives, created in the Anointed, Jesus, to accomplish the good works God arranged long ago. You are Always in My Prayers. Mom.
