If you walked from Listowel District Secondary School to the Dairy Queen you would walk almost exactly the width of Victoria Falls. Although it is neither the widest or the deepest waterfall in the world, it is considered the largest because of the volume of water that pours over it. Because of the recent rainfall the Falls are very powerful right now. We got very, very wet from the mist alone. The best view of the Falls is from up in the air. So, of course we took a helicopter over the Falls this afternoon. Absolutely incredible! You Are Always in My Prayers. Love Mom. Super Sevens and Great Eights Today it is Robert Mugabe birthday.....

We didn't get to eat on the helicopter. It was a small 6 passenger. It was fun. It was really cool to see it from the ground and the air.

The falls did look very powerful! We have been learning about forces and gravity and we think this is an excellent example of both! Was the mist coming off the falls as high as your helicopter? Is it still really warm there? Did the mist help keep you cool?

The most didn't come as high as the helicopter so that is why it was great to see it from the air. It is still warm here. I went in the pool this morning. The most was like a warm summer rain and felt good.

They are very pretty. Because of the recent rain they are very full. We saw hippos, vultures, bush buck, and warthogs and monkeys nearby.

Do all the rivers you have been to connect? Is there rafting nearby?

There is white rafting near Victoria Falls. The rivers don't all connect but the Zambezi and Bryde both go through Mozambique and empty into the India Ocean. St Lucia was a small river. It also empties into the Indian Ocean but doesn't go through Mozambique.
