My research shows that there aren’t any jaguars in Egypt. In fact Leopards are almost extinct there; however there was recently a leopard sighting...one of the 1st in 65 years.

I don’t know all the snakes but the Egyptian Cobra is one of the biggest in Africa and very venomous. I don’t think I want to meet one! Legend has it that Cleopatra died of a cobra bite. Ray might want to meet a Cobra...here is a web link of him hanging out with a Cobra in Morocco. http://uraimp.weebly.com/morocco--ethiopia/previous/2

Jerash and the Dead Sea and Masada were among my favourite places on your list of destinations. The Dead Sea sells some amazing skin products!!! I wish I had bought more eye cream... LOL!!!

We are going to see the Dead Sea which is actually a lake. I am excited to swim in it because it is very salty and it is easy to float.

We will see treasures but mostly the gold treasures have been moved to the museums rather than being left in the tombs or pyramids.

1. Hearts were left in the mummies so I don’t think I’ll see any mummified hearts. Other organs were taken out and mummified in jars. I don’t know if those jars are see through but I’ll let you know.

The flights went very well, but like any such travel you arrive at your final destination a little tired and overwhelmed. Our flight from Toronto was to Vienna and took about 8 hours. After a couple hours in the Vienna airport our second flight was 3 and a half hours to Cairo. With additional time travelling to and from airports and getting through the airports we were traveling for about 24 hours. We have done our first day here in Cairo visiting pyramids.
