We saw sea lions every day, but only two of our snorkeling adventures included swimming with them.

Eight sub species of Marine Iguanas, and three species of land iguanas. That makes 11 distinct types of iguanas in the Galapagos.

Those sea lions camouflage very well with the rocks.

The sea lions did blend in well on the rocks, often we would not spot them till we were too close.

We saw three penguins standing on the rocks when we were out in the dinghy. We weren’t close enough to get a picture.
