Do you like to get your feet wet? Marsh Marigolds LOVE wet feet (roots).
We can usually identify wildflowers by colour, the number of petals, and their leaves. But another thing to consider is their habitat—the place or environment where a plant naturally or normally lives and grows. Last Saturday we found these beauties beside the stream on the North Perth Trail in Gowanstown. Since Marsh Marigolds love habitats with wet or moist soil, can you think of other places you might find them in North Perth? You are Always in my Prayers. Love Mom & Dad.

We think you would find these near any small body of water; creek, river, pond. Reid thinks we could find these near the creek in Monkton, Halle suggested beside the river in Trowbridge. Ben thinks we might even find them near a ditch in Atwood.

Those wound like really great places and perfect Marsh Marigold habitats. If you do find some in any of those places, I would love some pictures to add!

I agree. I think the colours of the flowers are best seen in person.
